Murasaki Grey Ink
This is made from the thin pencil-diameter roots of a purple sweet potato. We originally sourced it for dyeing cotton, but couldn’t help experimenting with it as an ink. Though the grey was an unexpected result, it has been one of our most used inks. Botanical greys can be hard to find!
