Curly Maple Hand-Turned Bowl
Curly maple, also referred to as tiger, striped, or flame maple, denotes a specific type of figured maple which presents with unusual waves or markings like a tiger’s stripes.
This bowl has a large stable foot and the continuous curves highlight the smooth striping from the curly maple figuring. The coloring is rather dark and rich compared with the other pieces in this collection and would look fantastic contrasted with bright produce.

Bowl finish and care:
These bowls are sanded down to 400 grit and finished with pure walnut oil and are food safe, liquids are not recommend. Because the wood is not permanently sealed, high or low moister extremes can have some effects. Best practice is to keep them regularly oiled and in a stable climates.
