Fractal Burned Hand-turned Maple Bowl
The shape of this bowl was inspired by Persian coupe style glassware with tall straight sides and a dramatic sweeping curve at the bottom. This piece was finished with a fractal burning pattern that looks like trees growing up the sides of the bowl.
Fractal burning is a technique that uses high voltage electricity to burn unique patterns into wood, it is VERY dangerous and not recommended without proper safety equipment and knowledge.
Material: Spalted Maple with fractal burn
Dimensions: 3” x 7.75”
Weight: 13.5 oz
